Make a Collage

I'm back with another Keepsake post after last week's Valnetine's day extravaganza...

Today's post is an easy collage that you could do with virtually any sort of paper you bring back from your trip.  No complicated materials required, and it didn't take too long to do.   A couple Seinfeld episodes later I was done...

One of my favourite things about Paris is the Metro.  As dank as it may be, there is a certain romance I feel in the tunnels below the Parisian streets. We rode the Metro everyday during our stay, and I made sure to keep all our tickets with a plan to make something when I got home. This was a fun way to  remember this detail about our trip.

I liked the simple graphic detail on the tickets and the pop of blue and orange, and thought they were perfect for making a collage.  So I grabbed by scissors and glue and got to piecing the tickets together. What resulted was a fun poster that I'll likely add to a scrap book or photo album as yet another keepsake rememberance.

And if your a world traveller, a whole series of these would so fun to have...  This could be done with photos, maps, newspapers, fabric. Really anything goes, then let your imagination do the rest!
