Some colours are just meant to go together. Black and gold is one of those combinations, and I took full advantage of the festive season to be able to wear two pretty sparkly numbers this weekend.
Fridays was a work holiday party, so I kept it sleek with a hit of gold sparkle topped of with red lips...

Saturday's look was so fun! I had picked up the dress earlier in the week on a drop in to the thrift store. It need a little shortening, but was a perfect little dress for a day at the pop-up shop. Styled with a little poofy low ponytail, and black flats with a bow (not pictured)

For sure. I should also not take the picture when I am 5 minutes from being out the door!
Black and gold do look good together. Especially if the gold is sparkly.
